18 GHz Ruggedized Economy Low-Loss RF Cable E40F

Engineering Note

The E40F is an 18 GHz ruggedized economy low-loss flexible RF coaxial cable designed for base-station connections, telecom cabinet routing, harsh handling installations, and general internal RF paths where wear resistance and cost-effective construction are required. Its black PUR jacket provides improved abrasion and tearing resistance for more demanding installation environments, while the aluminum foil inner shield supports economy-grade internal connectivity. The cable combines a silver-plated copper inner conductor, LD PTFE dielectric, silver-plated copper braid outer shield, 1000 V.DC dielectric withstand voltage, and >70 dB shielding effectiveness for ruggedized RF routing where strict PIM requirements are not the main constraint.
