RF Probe Selection Questions
How do I choose between GS/SG, GSG, GSSG, GSGSG and SS?
Start with the DUT pad geometry and measurement mode, then confirm the required frequency, pitch and mechanical access.
What information should I provide for probe selection?
Provide the target frequency, probe configuration and DUT pad layout. A drawing or close-up image is recommended for non-standard geometries.
How should I specify probe pitch, and can it be customized?
Specify the center-to-center DUT pad spacing and required contact pattern. Custom pitch options are available within selected probe families.
How do I choose between GSSG and GSGSG for differential measurements?
Choose according to the DUT pad pattern and required ground arrangement. GSSG uses outer ground contacts, while GSGSG adds an interleaved ground contact between the differential signal paths.
