Engineering Note
This 50 ohm SMA female to 75 ohm F female impedance matching pad is an in-line converter for broadband transitions between 50 ohm and 75 ohm systems. It covers DC–3 GHz, maintains ≤1.25 VSWR, and provides 5.7 ±0.5 dB attenuation. The structure is suited to applications where a compact female-to-female adapter is needed to control mismatch and reduce reflections between instrument, CATV, SAT-IF, or mixed-impedance RF paths.
